JL comes to visit JC and finds out he is gone. He dutifully delivers his remains to is home on earth. He is sad but accepting of JC's death.

The moon palace is falling apart so LXC and LWJ know JC is extracting the golden core. JC says it's originally WWX's reward and he is returning it after giving WWX the Elixir of Immortality. WWX refuses and says he loves JC and wants another chance.

Now Master Wei just needs to take it! [JC voiceover] I must continuously drink the medicines made by the Jade Hares to continue existing and so can never leave here. With some prodding from the juniors, JC sends a healing rain onto Koi Tower to cleanse it from WWX's toxic miasma and save the Wens. JL decides to stay and clean up, with the help of his friends. JC noticed something and gives a shovel talk. #mdzs #maleficent #jiangcheng #jinling

WY finds evidence of WC's schemes and declares loyalty to JL. JC is struggling against WZL until the core returns to him, giving his a powerup and new wardrobe. He easily decimates WZL. #jiangcheng #wenzhuliu #maleficent

[WY, pulling off his bandana] You can trust me to help you with that. [There is no dialogue] WZL grabs Zidian to pull JC towards him. WZL winds up to punch JC laid out on the ground, which JC only blocks with his staff last minute. With a power boost, JC kicks off WZL. The glowing lotus reforms as JC's core, which swaps his all black outfit, revealing his staff is a sword, and the horns are actually bolts of lighting. A full page panel showing Jiang Cheng's new form: purple, pink and blue robes resembling a lotus, with a lotus leaf as a cape.
