I got a puzzle! The solution is a three digit number that tells me what door to open tomorrow

Summary: Clark honestly couldn't say he'd ever thought of Bruce in that way before. By the time they met, he was already dating Lois, and until recently, Clark had eyes for nobody but her. By then, Bruce was just… well, Bruce. His best friend, one of the greatest people he knew, strong and brave and intelligent and wonderful, but no more an object of desire than anyone else in the Justice league. Until that night. That night, where Bruce plastered himself to Clark, flirted with him, caught him so far off guard that it stripped away the familiarity that had blinded him for so long, leaving the image of of one of his closest friends illuminated in a completely new light.

He especially hated when it had to be witnessed by someone he actually respected. or: After a Gala, Bruce and Clark end up in bed together. They're friends, just helping each other out, no strings attached. Which would be great, if Bruce hadn't been halfway to head-over-heels since the day they met.

Clark rushed forward, slipping the jacket from Bruce's shoulders then fumbling with the buttons on his shirt. One popped off and rolled across the floor, the sound deafening in the silence. Clark froze. "Shoot, sorry, I—" "Rip them all, Clark. I don't care." Clark tried to be careful with the next button, then made a little sound of frustration in the back of his throat and ripped the final buttons off, letting the shirt fall away, leaving Bruce shirtless. Clark stared at him, and Bruce would feel exposed if he hadn't been shirtless around Clark so many times before. They'd torn each others clothes away under much less pleasant circumstances so many times that this shouldn't feel like anything new, but as Bruce started removing Clark's shirt, he couldn't help the little shake in his fingers which he hoped Clark wouldn't notice. Hands on bare skin, tracing the scars that laced Bruce's torso from years of bloody fights and near misses. Clark's bare chest, golden and pristine under a thick thatch of dark hair, coarse under Bruce's callused fingertips, impossibly perfect. Clark gripped Bruce's waist and pulled him close, hips flush together. The suit pants they both wore were tight, and the pressure of feeling Clark against him caused a shiver to run down Bruce's spine. It was already too much, already overwhelming. This was Clark, it was Kal-el, it was Superman. The man Bruce had fought alongside, who had always been there when Bruce needed him. The person who possibly knew Bruce better than anyone else in the world, not clouded by secret identities or paternal worry. His best friend. Was this a mistake? Clark cupped his face in a hand, eyes searching, recognizing something in Bruce's stillness. "Talk to me," he said in a low voice. Bruce shook his head. He'd already checked in with Clark, multiple times. They were both adults who knew what they were doing. Still, he could change his mind. He could step back, tell Clark he wasn't sure, and Clark would smile and laugh in a self conscious sort of way, he'd offer to leave and maybe Bruce would say yes, spending the rest of the night on his own, jerking off to the brief taste he'd gotten of this. Or maybe he'd ask Clark to stay, and he would. They'd sit up together, pretending none of this had happened, and maybe things would go back to normal, neither of them acknowledging what had almost happened. But Bruce didn't want any of that. He wanted Clark. He wanted more than just a taste, didn't want to live with the What if.

Played around with some watercolours today and I need to do this more often! So creatively freeing to work on something where I have no expectations for myself, I'm just creating for the joy of it. And it turned out pretty good, too!

"What do you mean?" "I mean I never mentioned Kryptonite. What else have you learned about me?" Bruce cleared his throat. "Well, I—" Clark smiled, forgetting all about the reheated food. "Come on, tell me!"

Just sharing what I posted on tumblr over here bc i wanna clarify why I probably won't be watching next season of 911 bc it's not as simple as just "they killed Bobby and buddie isn't canon yet"like a lot of the conversation around this stuff seems to be 🫶
Tumblr screenshot: Ok SO I've been thinking about it, i don't even know if I could say honestly that the show is bad now, but I still just .. have zero interest anymore (hint: it's not just 8b) There are/were a couple of reasons why I love this show. 1. the characters and their relationships with each other 2. the way it balances high and low stake calls, from big opening disasters to minor emergencies 3.The way the writing made you CARE about the people they we're saving. showing you snippets of their lives and making you root for them to be okay because you want that character to have a happy ending, not just because you want the 118 to be successful 4. the episode structure where the "average" episode was centered around a theme, and the calls would all relate to that theme somehow, while also reflecting the main characters plots for the episode. It was fun!! 5. whatever the hell buddie has going on 6. AND the certainty that even when the stakes we're high, no matter what crazy shit happened, everyone would be okay. Our team would make it out alive and continue to support each other through the good times and the bad. And it's like they've just been slowly chipping away at these elements of the show for the past few seasons to the point where there's just not enough left to make me want to watch anymore. This recent stuff is just sort of the straw that broke the camel's back really
