MasterCard's phone line was down, so I sent this message through the contact form instead 👍
Hello. I'm writing to express my displeasure with MasterCard for threatening to pull its support from game platforms that host 18+ content, namely Steam and itch.io. I tried to call, but the phone line was busy. Pressuring itch.io and Steam is not only an infringement on freedom of speech, but consumer freedoms as well. I have the right to spend my money on whatever I want as long as it's legal, and there is nothing illegal about me, an adult, accessing and purchasing content made for adults. I have done this many times in past, and I plan to continue, with or without MasterCard. I have used my MasterCard debit card for nearly a decade now, and it's unacceptable that the company I chose to trust is violating mine and many others' trust in pursuit of appearing family- and advertiser-friendly. What's next, asking Shoppers Drug Mart to remove lube from its shelves? Frankly, I don't see the need for all this fuss in the first place. I want to pay for a service. The person/platform offering the service earns money. MasterCard facilitates that service, and gains from it. It's a win-win-win. Why interfere? How is this good for anyone involved? Let us spend our money as we wish. Stop pressuring platforms into hiding and delisting adult content. You are hurting consumers, companies, and yourself. Thank you, [name]

Two phone reminders, both scheduled every other Wednesday at 2:50 PM, and titled "shots shots shots shots shots shots everybody." The Y at the end of "everybody" is drawn out. The first reminder has the word "right" in brackets at the beginning, and will next go off 6 days from now. The second reminder has the word "left" in brackets at the beginning, and will next go off 13 days from now.
