an orange and white cat wearing a cone looking right at the camera. he has some shmutz on his nose. the image is framed in a heart shape and text in the colored in parts says "this is bugs" "he has manx syndrome" "can you plz help him with his butt problems" an orange and white cat with his pupils dialated huge, mouth slightly agape. under his face some text reads, "when the pain meds hit lol". the rest of the image is explaining my situation and reads as follows: i had brain surgery on july 14th and have been on unpaid leave since then until september 12th. i got temporarily laid off from my part time gig recently due to medicare cuts. i will also have to go on a payment plan to catch up with rent after my leave. about a month ago, my cat had an anal gland abscess and had to go to the emergency vet which was an unexpected expense i thanfully was able to pay for at the time because my dad has sent me money to help with medical expenses from my surgery and post-op care. i've had to bring bugs back to the vet three times already since his initial emergency vet visit, costing me around 100$ each time. i am running our of my savings and still have to wait over a month for my next paycheck. bugs is a perfect candidate for an anal sacculectomy since he's already anally incontinent (a possible surgery complication) and has loose stools much of the time due to IBS which puts him at greater risk of his anal glands becoming impacted. going through with this surgery would be well worth it to reduce his future suffering and extend his time on earth with me and his other mommy :) an orange and white cat loafing in a blue pet bed with a blue lizard plushie behind him

so in addition to this i desperately need at least two root canals done and since i've reached my deductible those will have to come entirely out of my pocket. i've been trying to find a place to do them for as cheap as possible but everywhere is saying around 700 dollars per tooth.
