Travelled through Highbury and Islington on the Northern City line earlier this week, and for the first time I’ve noticed that there’s some catenary?
This is surprising since the line switches to third rail at Drayton Park, one stop north,
The slowly rotting away National Rail platforms of the Northern City line at Highbury & Islington station, with a very precarious looking piece of catenary hanging from the ceiling. Switzerland trains.
I am standing next to an open window of an RhB Capricorn. The scenery I’m surrounded by is rather alpine. I’m standing next to a SOB Traverso FLIRT 3. I’m on a train, and through the window you can see a mountain scape. I’m on top of a hill, with mointains in the background, as well as old buildings and a vineyard.
