Sadly even if you keep your kid off social media, they are still influenced by its algorithms (and completely unaware of it)

I’m like hey parent what if your child has a psychotic break, only knows how to relate to robots, can’t distinguish fact from fiction, or has no critical thinking ability in “the future.”

Them: But they’ll be competitive in the labor market because AI!

I hate how these AI companies have positioned their stuff like some sort of inevitable future, so it’s hard to even have a productive convo about the merits. I think a lot of parents want their kids prepared for “the future” so…
