“Ceremony is where we share stories, break bread, and take care of each other. Not ‘Thanksgiving’ — a fiction that covers up the fact that colonizers used to feast after scalping us and destroying our villages.” www.coyotemedia.org/thanksgiving...
Every Thanksgiving We Drive to Alcatraz. Except This Year

Please send submissions to [email protected]. Written submissions should be under 250 words, while voice memos can be 1–2 minutes long. If you want to share a photo of yourself with Alice, or a memory in another form, please do. We may edit lightly for clarity as needed. Thank you! (3/3)

We are especially interested in hearing from disabled individuals of color, and disabled individuals in general, and will prioritize their responses. Please let us know of any communication needs you may have, or anything else we can do to help you share your memories of Alice. (2/3)
