This is mind blowing! I've been playing with Tilemaps, and always wondered why converting tilemaps to gridmaps wasn't a built-in thing in Godot. You just fixed it! haha

É uma vergonha o evento não arcar nem com a alimentação, nem com a ÁGUA dos desenvolvedores ali expondo.

Nessas últimas vezes inclusive, ao preencher o formulário de envio de jogos, eu já não marcava mais a opção "tem disponibilidade para ficar presencialmente no estande?" exatamente por saber como são arcaicas as condições pra quem precisa ficar ali em pé expondo o jogo o dia inteiro, todos os dias.

Já expus meu jogo Grashers duas vezes no BIG / Gamescom. A primeira vez no Panorama Brasil em 2018, e a segunda vez como finalista na categoria Melhor Jogo Brasileiro em 2023.
Exceto pela credencial, nunca foi me oferecido nenhum tipo de ajuda, nenhum centavo pra arcar com custos, nada.

Hey! I don't know if that's your case, but I see a lot of newcomers trying to learn _everything_ before making a game, but there's a lot of knowledge in starting a game and figuring things out as you need them. Maybe go forward with the 2D platformer and see where it goes! 😁
