Ingenious awardee Kromek have joined #LumiereDurham for Bright Ideas - revealing the hidden engineering that powers the UK’s largest light festival.

Local students, artists and engineers created Iron Horse Junction, to inspire the next generation in STEM. See it at the final Lumiere 13-15 November.

We kicked off #NationalEngineeringDay yesterday at 10 Downing Street, for a roundtable discussing how to create the next generation of engineering visionaries.

It was a fantastic discussion, looking ahead to the next 25 years and how the profession must evolve to meet society's needs. 🚀

The government's Post-16 Education and Skills White Paper builds on the urgent need to close the UK’s engineering skills gap.
