First of all, you're coming at me very weird. Yes, I don't hold as much empathy for Hispanic Trump voters or Hispanic people who didn't vote at all bc they could've done something. Im also speaking as someone from several marginalized communities. We cannot depend on white people to get right

I don't agree with that person nor am I supporting their argument. This issue is more nuanced than blaming the MI Muslim community completely or not at all

I read the entire thread and the origin post. I understand that. They still hold responsibility in her loss. Their responsibility doesn't justify what's happening to them but it's still there

It is a bit infantilizing to suggest marginalized groups shouldn't bear responsibility for their political choices. It also reinforces bigotry to find glee in their harm
