im also seeing some mentions of difficulty affecting fishing rng (weird gameplay choice but ok) but im on normal so... yeah idk. it's getting ridiculous I have lost 11 people to old age simply cause it wont give me a specific fish lmao

but even then, the people agreeing it's random luck got it "after 4-5 days of fishing." i've been trying for EIGHTEEN DAYS. i am on day 41. i only have 5 people left. it's not even about the quest anymore i just wanna know if i have shit luck or im actually missing something.

the only stuff i can find are one singular person saying i need to complete the lighthouse quest (seems random), and another saying you need to use the fishing ritual (which i doubt because that's way later, and it's literally skippable). most people seem to agree it's literally just random luck.

Highguard might be the first chatgpt game, a blend of every idea from every other mildly popular fps game that completely falls apart once you realize it's 3v3. Another release that lacks any actual cohesive identity and another example of how synthesis is not the only element of creativity.
