I do not know why this option exists, I can only assume the head executives either forgot or never knew that this was going on. But I'm very happy to be able to paint my models without an adobe account.

This is a friendly reminder that SOME adobe programs are available as a one-time purchase on Steam. No subscription, perpetual license, and NO ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD ACCOUNT.

I bought Substance Painter 2024 two years ago and have been very happy with that purchase.

Also, physical games are printed with the assumption you have the most updated firmware at the time the game is printed. Your physical games may not even boot if your console can't get firmware updates.
