By "every" I mean "every one of them which I have heard on a podcast or read about in a news story." Meaning, I have not seen a single explanation offered by an AI executive as to who would be legally responsible. Recent example in this thread, enjoy: bsky.app/profile/iwri...
As promised, audio of Intuit CMO Thomas Ranese answering my questions is in today's episode of It Could Happen Here.

You can also listen to him admit he has no idea what happens when your financial data gets stolen here.

Every "AI savant" that's asked about this gives a word slop answer that sounds good in the C-suite and would get you Rule 11'd in court. I imagine some very difficult questions are being asked (and ignored) by general counsel and risk management.

This seems to fit with what Tito wants to do, even if Steer is a super-utility guy that can play some at 2nd (which he seems to be politely campaigning to do).

I prefer the original Warm Bleach flavor.

sure, they're doing this BS (and also emailing me similar sales pitches) but on the other hand the website and digital subscription I pay for is also more expensive than ever so who's to say? 🤷‍♂️

Politicians are addicted to easy stuff, none want to do the hard stuff that will actually fix the problem, and we have no Congress to speak of. Grim times!

It's a double whammy because it will also juice demand for single-family housing even further without doing anything to address the supply side. The problem is worse for everyone involved. In other words, a classic Trump solution.

I laughed at Scott’s writing and internet japes as hard as I’ve laughed at anything in my life. Never met the guy but think about stuff he wrote all the time.

The Cincinnati Reds share at least one thing in common with Minty the Candy Cane: they are covered in goo.

You simply have to admire the hustle of a person with “Newspapers 4 life” in their bio not reading the article before developing A Take.

Also, they are a *terrible* way to predict competence. Lots of idiots pass and reflect poorly on the profession, and lots of future good lawyers fail the first or second time. But it's a bad look to admit you aren't studying hard AND complaining that you didn't pass, IMO.

As a bar-passer myself, I feel like I'm not "supposed" to say this but bar exams are not "hard." They require study/focus, but they are not "difficult" they just test your ability to remember a lot and analyze information. Anecdotally, few people that really study fail to pass by the 2nd attempt.

He is Built Different. He's been getting destroyed all year and getting some truly horrendous coaching/playcalling, but he just stands back there fearlessly playing his game. Next year he will be a certifiable problem even if the team is so-so.
