So it does say 'writer' on my bio, so maybe I should, like, back that up with something? Okies... Anyone for Asian-themed fantasy novels with lesbian elements? Yah? Cool. Then maybe The Tales of Tonogato are for you: www.cynthiaradthorne.com/currenttitle...
I fixed it.

I have watched a number of videos of town halls, courtroom arrests, and street abductions. Aside from the rage they fill me with, there is also this: those being hauled from the town halls, those throwing their bodies into the fray to try and protect the kidnapped, are all women. ALL OF THEM. 1/

Attended one of the Hands Off protest marches today! While it was small compared to many of the major cities, I had expected there to be maybe 25 - 30 people but I think there were at least 400! We had LOTS of supportive honking, thumbs up, and waving.

We will rescue our country from the madmen!

Dear Elon,

Here is what I did last week:

• I recalled how when I bought my Tesla, it seemed like a good thing for the planet and that you had made a pretty good car

• I watched the news and saw you unabashedly giving a Nazi salute and supporting a Nazi party in Germany /1

What is happening right now with Musk and the Treasury payment systems reminds me of a situation I was in when I worked in Internal Audit at a major insurance company. The company was profitable, but just not *enough* profitable for the corporate holding company owning them. /1

Well, lookee whose short story made it onto Tangent Online's Recommended Reading list! Good start to the year!

Many thanks to e-Spec Publishing for including my stories in their anthologies!

Hive mind - who has recommendations for up-to-date website building? My current site I built myself in HTML a long time back but is now hopelessly out of date for mobile use. I have my own domain, I just need a decent tool to build a mobile-friendly site that I can then import to the domain. Thanks!

Finally trashed my Washington Post subscription, for the second time. First time was after Bezos killed the Harris endorsement, but I was convinced by journalistic voices that we need to keep the news side alive. So I re-upped again.

They crossed a red-line for me today, with a glaringly-obvious

I made this in 2019, but still applicable today...

So in addition to my novels I have a couple of short stories published in anthologies. The latest is in the one: Other Aether, a collection of steampunk tales from other cultures aside from merry old England.

Interested parties can find their adventure here:

Oh look, she's posting her book covers! Well, yeah, I mean that is what writers do, right? Toss things out into the ether and hope that one magical person says "Hmm maybe I should take a peek..."?

Are you that magical person? (Free hugs for the correct answer) 😀

What you get when you ask MidJourney for a portrait of a female British Royal Navy officer of the 18th century...

Who knew that female captains would have worn cocked hats with plumage? 😜

And speaking of which, what is this "Second Life" thing she mentioned... Well, it can be a lovely place to free-form create things, like gardens and forests you can walk around in and share with people. This is a view of The Elvenwood, the forest I created there. Feel free to visit :)
