These interiors were the highlights of our visit to the new V&A East Storehouse today. The Frank Lloyd Wright, especially wow!
large room made from beautiful plywood. designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1937. Displayed as a whole room in the V&A space. wooden walls and floor and ceiling. wooden desk and three chairs. cream rug. calm lighting. Frankfurt kitchen in green. no space wasted. cupboards and a sink. tiled floor and walls. Designed in 1926. hallway from Robin Hood Gardens, an estate in east London, now demolished. carpet. dramatic yellow wallpaper. a door to a room and wooden barrier to protect the stairs at the top of the landing. very stylish.

Two new stunners in the park this morning.
two shaggy parasol mushrooms. the heads are the size of an orange. they are 'bleeding' slightly with brown sticky stuff, from some of the shaggy bits on the head. thick stalks. brown / cream. growing in grass and brown leaves near the path in the park.

green fungus on a tree stump. unusual colour. small pink / orange / yellow mushrooms growing out of a tree stump. few look like they have been nibbled. baby yellow stagshorn - day 2. not grown much since yesterday. very small.

Baby yellow stagshorn in the park yesterday.
tiny (max 0.5cm) high orange fingers of fungus. bright against the log they are growing out of in a line. some strands are less than a millimetre.
