I can see more fires in the distance near the old Dodger Stadium. It’s tough to see through all the hazy smog that’s lingered over the city after the airstrikes. I think about baseball and smile, closing the hatch to my bunker. Hot dogs. It’s the hot dogs I miss.

Found an old flash drive with pre-censorship news archives. Like finding buried treasure. Impossible to part with even though it’s instant death if they find it on me. Truth is the rarest currency now.
