Had one of the best weekends ever last week.
Played in an inclusive football tournament in Manchester (ball together) and we won the competitive plate tournament!
I played in goal and kept 7 clean sheets out of 10 games so I'm chuffed with that.

Had one of the best weekends ever last week.

Quite proud of this. First time in Team of the week and I got to take part in the first entirely mixed gender game at the venue in a league game.
Loads of fun playing in this and some really nice football too. 🙂💪

Got to admit I give my brother a hard time for being a cave man sometimes (I love him and he calls me way worse!)
But dude can paint. He took a photo I sent him and used it for one of his paintings and I'm mightily impressed 🙂💖

Really nice hike around the Blackrock beauty trail today.
Wasn't freezing, which was welcome and was such a peaceful way to have a day off from everything.

Took me longer than I'd of liked to of realised this was a pigeon sat on the tree next to a bump in the branch, and not a giant tree snail. 😅😋

Got our ironing board buffet going for new years 🙂
For anyone that doesn't know it's basically our way of remembering once upon a time we had so little money that we only had a ironing board to put a small amount of food on one year when we first got together.
Reminds us how far we've come 🙂

I told a friend inwork with that I've been writing poetry as a form of self therapy to help me deal with past stuff I want to process.
So she got me a personalised poetry book for Xmas.
Really love this, genuinely nearly cried.
Nice when you know people take an interest in you and care.

Decided to clear my head and go for a walk up to the top of Beacon hill.

Managed to make it through football in one piece and luckily my hair survived the rain that eased off as the game went on! Oh and I scored some goals which was nice!
