All of my days off lately have been spent sleeping far more than I planned. I apparently need the rest or I've accidentally slipped into the sleep portion only of seasonal affective disorder because my mental health is actually pretty great.

My 87 year old grandma now describes her on and off boyfriend of the last 26 years as "her friend" each time she talks about him and told me today "we are just friends now, we aren't lovers anymore" like I am not aware she dumped him after he was physically unable to keep up with her anymore smh

Got a pedicure today in anticipation of my Hawaii trip next week and I think she exfoliated my tan I've been working on the whole last month clean off my lower legs.

Had the best night with the most interesting conversations with a guy I met at the concert that I ended up walking around town and on the beach with who is probably way too young for me but exchanged numbers with and then talked to my work crush on the phone for an hour and forty five minutes after.

Got brand new Beyoncé sunglasses just in time for my attendance to the Beethoven x Beyoncé symphony performance tonight and I broke the fucking glasses at happy before the show 🙄 this is why I don't buy glasses that cost more than $20!

I'm the moral friend. I had to put crabs back at the fish market the other day because I didn't know they were still alive and the guy was like "just put them in the freezer for 30 minutes and you're good" and I said "no sorry I can't do it, thank you anyway" and left lol.

Sadly, I've hardly met a breakfast burrito I thought was good. The best breakfast burrito I can remember ever having is the chorizo burrito at University of Kansas Hospital of all places. They toast them. Absolutely wrecked my stomach every time but worth it.
