It’s the hypocrisy that pisses me off here, because (hate to say it) they aren’t wrong. People buy and give and receive so much crap that no one wants or needs for Christmas gifts, and the hyper consumerism at this time of year is problematic on many levels. But that’s not why they’re saying this.
