James and I talked myself into rewatching Chernobyl.

It wrecks me every single time, and it’s worth it.

I’m getting seven biopsies from my endo, and not having an answer yet is killing me.

That’s so many! How can they all be fine!

And I was told they won’t call me till the end of the week, but sometimes it comes through the portal.

I was just reminded of how good Kevin can Fuck Himself is.

I want someone to come to me and thank them for the introduction.

I think it should be illegal for cats to not let you hug them.

I am having another day in bed.

I’ll need to plan for this next time I’m having general anesthesia. I’m lucky I didn’t have a lot going on on Friday and then a weekend.

I hope I can do Monday. It’s the last Monday my boss and I are in the office before his real job.
February 15, 2026 at 7:06 PM
I have been napping all day, and there is no indication it’s going to affect my sleep tonight.

Dr Google is divided on whether this is anesthesia related or just my natural state.

And people were like “B12! You’ll have so much energy!”
February 15, 2026 at 4:19 AM
I’m blaming the anesthesia. I am so exhausted.

Wake me up when I’m dead.

Fun story: there was a substitution of officiant at my parents wedding who had a different opinion of the couple.

Was on record they wouldn’t make it two years.

It is “joked” they have stayed together out of spite.

I must be a great Manager because I am still mad at the Board Member complaining about the reasonable accommodation that our Manager work from home.

I am so revved up to fight retired/semi-retired folks.

I would fight working folks too if they would run for the Board.

I was JUST thinking about Freakazoid! erasure. It did come out against Animaniacs, which took up a lot of air.
In cartoon news, Tubi just revealed practically the entirety of the classic Warner Bros/Hanna-Barbera/Cartoon Network library is coming to the platform this March.

For those who don't wanna visit the bird site, here's the full list of what's coming.

Current drama at the co-op about reasonable accommodations for the manager.

Obviously we cannot disclose why we are granting a reasonable accommodation. So the boys are being babies about the whole thing without access to the underlying medical information.

Yes. Boys. Until they act better.

Remember those tiny little skin pricks you get when drawing blood? And you rip off the bandaid immediately?

Apparently with my IV it looked like a crime scene. 8 hours later it looks like *this*

I have a few that are the reason I lurk Facebook. I recently reconnected with my Gay Boyfriend from high school and it was as magical as I hoped.
watching John Green talk about his buddy from high school who is still his friend and I’m curious, is that common for people on here?

Even the true believers acknowledge it’s correct 80% of the time. It’s having to train an employee continuously.

Having just onboarded an employee, this takes more time than just doing the work yourself.

Plus of course the CSAM and psychosis and killing people.

But collateral damage I guess.
I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.

The ten minutes before dinner will make you second guess having a pet.

But then there’s the rest of the day.

Patch doesn’t understand why stomping on my tits doesn’t get him dinner.

It should be a foolproof strategy.

RFK Jr: I'm not scared of a germ. I used to snort cocaine off of toilet seats.

I have some hard candy I’d love to find for this sore throat, but I have a cat on my lap.

Another point for a platonic significant other who lives in my co-op. (We have 5 on the market!)

I think they’re in an unused purse or jacket. I stole them from House of Prime Rib.

Fuck me, it’s 21. And a lot of those I didn’t count are “In very specific scenarios”

Like cabbage in gyoza.

Yes I will be dying of malnutrition. It’s comforting to have that sorted out already.
Oh shit I’m wrong it’s 8.

Fuck cauliflower.
7 for me how about y’all ?

I didn’t realize Cross did well enough to earn a second season.

I mean, I enjoyed it. But we’ve already discussed my guilty pleasure of copaganda.

And in general I do not believe in the concept of guilty pleasures.

Sometimes I think Patch is closing his eyes because he’s so content.

And then I remember I’m looking in the wrong eye.

He is nowhere near as snuggly as he was when he first came home. He’s not impressed with a permanent loving house now that he has one locked down.
