Yeah, I read an early copy myself despite it being SO not my kind of book in the slightest, and I still enjoyed myself quite a bit. I was surprised!

If it can pull it off, I will be THRILLED. As much as the space has grown, it is still hyper niche in the grand scheme of things.

From a mercenary business perspective it strikes me as something with a lot of exciting potential for the space as a whole so divorced entirely from how I feel about it as a system, I hope it does gangbusters.

Mechanically the game sits in the space between your DnDs and your PbtAs, so if someone picks it up as their first game, they are well positioned to try other games suited to their specific tastes. And an online custom card creator? That is ABSOLUTE nerd middle schooler bait.

This is a good shout! I'd also maybe look at pinup artists here www.illustrationhistory.org/artists/cate... and see what they've done? With pinup stuff artists often like, get on a theme, haha. I see after some poking Gil Elvgren has a fair few cowgirls for instance.
