The perpetrators being racist doesn’t change Musk’s goal with the post. If anything, their racism just makes it easier for him to use the scandal to spread fear and racism against people who don’t share the perpetrators values or ideas.

He’s using the very real Rotherham Scandal and lying about the numbers to stoke fear and racism. An insult to the very real victims.
