The word “chemtrail” is completely meaningless and associated with a wacky conspiracy theory. They are called contrails and they do have a significant impact on climate change. So if they want to connect the dots, maybe they can start to admit climate change is a real problem.

You’re probably thinking of the 1890 “Battle of the Reed Rules.” Speaker Thomas Brackett Reed forced a change in House procedure by counting silent Democrats as present to break the disappearing quorum tactic. Some members literally dove under their desks or fled the chamber to avoid being counted.

Whatever your political views may be, we have to agree that violent, antisemitic rhetoric begets violent acts. (Boulder, DC, Pennsylvania…the list goes on.)

Platforming such voices is reckless and antithetical to the spirit of Pride and the spirit of America’s finest city.

You share excellent content, which I’m grateful for. But I have to ask: why is it that you repost something and then repost it again with a quote in back to back posts? Is that a strategy for visibility or a quirk of Bluesky’s repost feature?
