Dr. Lachelle Weeks presented interesting data about #CHIP present in #SCD patient and I am surprised to see it as early in childhood (up to 7% by age 11) and how the incidence increases. It was not observed in sickle trait. Unknown are the implications for 🧬 #GeneTherapy #ASH25

1- despite that Blina has not been tested in Adolescents /HR-ALL but we could probably extrapolate that Blina could also decrease Relapse risk
2- increased risk of grade 3+ infections beyond cycles of Blina
