I think the main thing that bugs me about the picture I posted is not so much that it got tagged but that it's tagged "sexually suggestive. Does not contain nudity" when the only thing in any way suggestive about it is that it could be considered partial nudity.

It flagged the pic I took of my new bra, and I'm torn about how I feel about that. Yes, by design a bra is underclothes and not intended for public view, but it covers more than some tops and the picture is not suggestively posed or anything.

My dad (an old blue collar boomer from the lower midwest) died before trans rights became a hot topic, but I remember he had fine opinions on why it was stupid for straight people to object if "the pillow biters and the rug munchers" wanted to get married.

Honestly, I have a big soft spot for listening to a supportive rant from someone so far removed from the expected source of support that you get not just insensitive language but outright slurs.

Technically she never described abuse just neglect, but considering she ran away at 14 and when they would go to the cemetery she would detour past her uncle's grave to spit on it, I imagine there was something there that she didn't tell her kids about.

My grandmother was really into Christmas and my mom always figured it was compensation for the bad Christmases after she was orphaned and ended up with abusive relatives.

I do wish someone had told me about benadryl before my mother had full on dementia. Of course now she sometimes claws herself bloody in her sleep because of the itching.

Yup. Just got the cliff notes version from some guy at church, who has cherry picked and provided an interpretation formed specifically to back up an existing agenda.

Nuts can't hurt but dairy is already pretty good on protein. That's why ice cream or tiramisu is a much healthier dinner than cookies.
