I considered the bladder from a backpack style hydration system and rigging something up.

95% of the time the jugs are empty.

I can also buy a gallon and split into two jugs

I hand sewed the 1 gallon totes to tour to the slidey rock place at Death Valley NP. Also great for tea drinking people

These tail lights are some of the brightest, one of them is probably all you need. I bet this is visible more than 5 miles away. It’s nice they recharge directly from my solar panels or power bank batteries

I use the Universal Waite as well primarily because the softer card stock is easier for me to shuffle

I eye-balled it. I filled the gaiwan with 30-40% leaf. I started the steeps at 20 seconds adding 10 seconds each subsequent steep. I got 9 steeps totaling about 1.25 liters of tea

That’s exactly what it’s for. Or maybe just a day hike into a cool tea drinking place

Well… if you drop the lid it’s all good. Once or twice I’ve had to put it down because it was too hot, other than that it’s perfectly functional and extremely lightweight

Yeah big and colorful. I’m 32 miles east of Colorado river where clay may have been harvested.

I run a 4ft cable between the front and rear wheel, which is called “locking the bike to itself” but I’ve had no problems. I do have an inexpensive alarm which has only gone off once. It was a raccoon.

Keith titanium kettle 2.5L

Snow Peak seppo mug 450ml

Boundless Voyage gaiwan 200 ml

Boundless Voyage titanium cups 120ml

I really enjoy the titanium set which I put together solely for its weight and ease of carry. This summer I will be in the Sierra’s enjoying tea made with delicious creek water flowing off high mountains

As far as I can tell, titanium is completely inert. I get zero change in taste, I use a 450ml Snow Peak mug as a gong dao bei (fairness cup) but only when drinking tea with others. That Snow Peak mug is also my coffee mug and I tend to brew coffee on the strong side. Also no metallic twang taste

I bought this Boundless Voyage 200ml on Amazon. They also make a 125ml gaiwan. My advice is to buy the one without the cups, which are tiny. The cups I bought separately are 120ml
