I think I misread the instructions and I cut the wrong side of the string (it's late, I am tired). So I will have to manage as I can for the stitching.
I am already planning to redo it in some of the wool I have, so in bright colours.

I don't know why tonight I am buzzing and full of energy (I only drunk apple and elderflower tisane) so the lines are a bit wobbly and perspective not great but anyway here's today's drawing.

Finished drawing with cleaner shadows and lines.
I tried to layers primary (kinda) colours instead of mixing them or using directly the colour I needed. I already used it to do the leather in my crown inktober drawing.

It doesn't really represent the colours well but that's always the case with my phone camera.

My minimalist former child self wouldn't approve. That said I don't approve of the couch colour. I bought it for the shape with the ears and because it was extremely cheap on a charity shop not long after I moved in.

Doing a mixture of knife, chisel and mechanical carving in a way that would probably make anyone who know what they're doing scream in horror. But it's progressing well.

I also made this fox for my sister. But apparently my 3 years old niece has decided it was one of her new dolls so I have to make a new one. I haven't whittle for a long time so it's not going well.
I forgot to check the old picture so I made it uselessly complicated to.

In 2020 I whittle this whale as a door blocker. It didn't work, either because the angles wasn't right or it was too small and light. Anyway now it's a trinket on my bookshelves .
