But that isnt what Hydro Quebec pledge to do lol. You arent even acknowledging that the opponents to Hydro Quebec want to invest in LOCAL production of solar and especially wind since maine is a great location for wind. Beating climate change requires investing in new renewables not new corridors

How would it displace just fossil fuels and not also local renewable generation? You arent even acknowledging the fact that no new renewable power is being generated. Wouldn't that shift of power help Canadian fossil fuel companies by your logic?

But how is it climate denial? Climate change is a global thing and the corridor was a way to distribute power, not generate new power. The opponents wanted to shift focus on maines booming solar and wind generation instead of destroying the local environment

I dont know how you can live in maine and act like platner doesn't have grassroots support. I went down for Thanksgiving and only saw platner signs and no Mills or Collins signs. You seem to be the one in a cult for regurgitating out of staters talking points

Have you talked to people from the Eastern Maine Labour Council to see what they think of him? There are plenty of local organizations in the area that could help give you some context for his race but youre too busy getting opinions from people who dont live here.
