A colorful trace monotype of Transmission Across the Acheron. Took me way longer than expected.
I think this is one of the prints I made during a midnight storm -- class was quite late, and I already had a habit of staying until about 11pm. The rain didn't let up until 3.

Plastic Little (1994) may not be especially dense, thought-provoking, or at all possible to recommend (containing many of the OVA era's worst sins), but it's the first thing I've watched in a while that makes me want to grab my tools and draw. It has real passion behind it.

Last night's figure drawing part 1: shorter poses. Contour practice. Enjoying construction lines and reducing things to shapes. I find it counterproductive to think about objects as being foreshortened--it makes them intimidating.
