Finally started Metal Gear Survive... and I actually like it so far? The writing seems kind of so-so and it of course lacks the usual MGS sauce, but I'm enjoying the gameplay a lot for what it is. It's circumstances aside, this MGS-themed survival game is kind of a neat novelty!

RGG seems to want to speedrun tanking all the goodwill towards them lately, why?
Base game features locked behind DLC recent games, insisting on keeping a sex pest in the YK3 cast, and now the needless delisting / price-hike of the Y3 remaster... some way to "express gratitude"!

Played the JP ver of Spyro the Dragon (PS1) after replaying the EN ver. I wonder if it would've been better received in Japan if not for the changes: they don't ruin the game, but they all defintiely make it worse. Even so, it's at least still beautiful to look at and listen to.

Been playing Tenchu: Stealth Assassins (PS1) lately, an awesome game. Sort of clunky, but really fun to master. The stealth instakills and various ninja tools are all really cool. Very atmospheric with the ever-present darkness from the draw distance. Phenomenal soundtrack.
