Mug winner, WSJ Crossword Contest. Got Wordle in hard mode when it was "PROXY", "NYMPH" and "JAZZY". Wrote the Bird's Nest Soup question.
The 21st Century had so much potential- it could have been anything. Instead fucking Donald Trump is going to be the dominant name discussed for at least the first half, and likely beyond.

Bugs was always dressing up as a lady to fool Elmer Fudd, but they never paid off the gag by having them make out until Elmer discovers his penis.

My only note: I'd switch out "A Special Sesame Street Christmas" for the far superior "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street". The difference is night and day.

Browsing YouTube, finding a supercut of shopping-mall commercials from the 70s and 80s, and feeling like a character in "The Road Warrior" who found an old magazine in the rubble and is now seeing how people used to live.

We'd like a nice, quiet table away from the fixin's bar.

The unfortunate fact is, his parents lived to 88 and 93, and he has Presidential-level health care. Fate intervenes as it will, but as tempting as what I call "liberal hope porn" is, there is definitely a pathway for him to make it to 2029.

VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN: They called me a madman. They said I was insane. But I'll show them all.

ME: How will you do this?

VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN: ...

ME: Well?

VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN: ...OK, I'll tell you, but you have to listen to the whole thing because it's going to sound pretty insane at first.

It all sounds like a middling entry in a "dub our movie" contest.

Three years is not forever. He seemed about to drop many times in his first term, too. Age-related decline can be a roller-coaster ride of good days and bad days.

He's in decline, but he also has Presidential-level health care. We should be careful what we assume.

The theater takes care that outside stimuli are minimized, giving you only one thing to focus on.

I'd write a letter to future historians explaining how this happened, but I don't actually know. Something to do with cable news.

What happened to last year's Spider-Man balloon?

I often think that if Jim Croce hadn't died young, he'd have written Disney soundtracks in the 90s.

It was a wild time when you learned of forthcoming movies days, not years, before they came out.

I remember the Empire Strikes Back teaser, late '79, ending with "Coming to your galaxy NEXT SUMMER". The theater let out a huge groan because promotion had never started so far in advance before.
