Can recommend. The 3rd book is a bit slower to start but wraps up everything in a really satisfying way, paying off plot points from the Orconomics.

Any time I hear "how hard could it be?" I immediately drop an X thusly:
[X] Doesn't know WTF they're talking about.
Because the question is: _how_ is this going to be hard?
Real engineers know that it's always more work than you expect, and if it's not odds are you've missed something.

+1 for Badlands. It had some neat twists and at least one interesting, unexpected nod to the original Predator, but definitely stands well on its own.
