Listening to Hear my Hope on loop and ended up doing a little sketch because I could not not draw this moment. #HazbinHotel #Abel

OH, as I've been rewatching/relistening to Hear my Hope over and over, I noticed a really fun cool detail during one part and was reminded of an earlier part in the same episode.

Seems Charlie's plan really did end the way she hoped it would. Sort of.

Love it.

Just rewatched the sequence and I think you're absolutely right, which only further makes Al's character and motivations all the more interesting because it would mean he made a really simple deal with Rosie when he could have taken advantage of the situation, and yet didn't, which is just wild.

And because he was turned down, Vox has been bitter for decades - quote from Helluva Boss comes to mind "Do you know how much people have to care to spend this much time hating someone?"

Also noticed that of all the attention Vox gets, the only one he cares about most is Alastor's.

The Vox backstory when he was human adds new context to his interaction with Alastor when he was new in Hell. When alive, he killed anyone that was above him to take their place, but with Al, he seemed to genuinely want to be partners with him.

Vox absolutely had a crush on Al, no question.

OH, and fucking props to Abel for finding the courage to stand up to Lute and actually take charge. I feel like that's also going to develop as time goes on, Lute did seem to see Adam in Abel briefly and is why she listened to him in that moment.
