This is great Emma – particularly your use and analyses of 'double-consciousness'

Great list Ian – particularly like Danielle McLaughlin's 'A Partial List of the Saved'.

A vital and stunning piece of work by Aoife Kelleher. Hope as many people can get out to see it as possible.

Read this earlier on Elizabeth. It's stayed with me. Quietly moving, and highlights how vulnerable immigrants often are to those within their communities.

How about you? How are things in California? Thanks for offering to post, I'll be sure to send you some stuff when there's news.

Doing well thanks Scott. In London again after 13 years in Barcelona (quite a shock to the senses to be back). Publishing house is on hold until funding comes through, but pressing ahead with my writing. I've been shortlisted for best short story at the Irish Book Awards which is a big lift.

Congratulations Martin. Looking forward to reading.

Great stuff Scott. I always wondered whether you liked Denis Johnson or not. Loved Angels – currently rereading. I'll definitely get a copy of Nobody Move. Would love to know your thoughts on The Largesse of the Sea Maiden, Tree of Smoke, Train Dreams. And also Seek – the non-fiction collection.

Very much looking forward to this Martin. Congratulations.
