I was blissfully unaware of the Catherine Zeta-Jones story until I heard about it in this episode, but may I compliment @mrkennycampbell.bsky.social on his analysis of the words used by the media about different parts of society, and his call for us to be vigilant about it. Really thought-provoking

I've reduced my intake of news and media as much as possible. I listen to decent and honest Podcasts like @quietriotpod.bsky.social . I've even taken the BBC News app off my mobile .

I did ACTUALLY say that. But it was CUT. Along with my advice to avoid anything with nuts for at least an hour before. A x
