My mom also had Alzheimer’s; it’s a terrible disease. She had eventually lost her ability to speak. I think covering up illness is an ongoing problem in politics but I guess they do it to keep the seat and the paycheque as long as they can.

Good point, but the number of times he’s gone off script and started spewing nonsense can’t be just performative; he’s not that good of an actor. Also, how can the GOP think everyone believing he has dementia is a good idea? Certainly distracting, but also good reason to oust him.

Conservative Premiers are destroying public healthcare in Canada. They think we are all stupid and are not paying attention. The Federal government needs to pass a law saying Federal funding must go to its intended purpose or change how funding is allocated. @liberalca.bsky.social
