There's also the whole "Joker is actually the good guy 'cause he's anticapitalist (he just burns a pile of money) and an anarchist (he doesn't adhere to any Anarchist tenet) while Batman is a fascist (i guess?? Idk, i have to learn more about him to comment on this)". Not Nolan's fault btw

Not saying it isn't, but i started watching Batman Begins with Nabbo and i couldn't shake off the feeling of Nolan trying to make Batman deeper and failing. I also remember being kind of distasted with his speeches about Gotham city and its criminals, but i can't quite recall why.

Jesus Christ, i was expecting better from him. Though i guess both the Watchmen movie and the Dark Knight Trilogy do share some pompousness and pretentiousness (even though the second movie's pretty good as a standalone).
