Oh no, the genocide-funding liberals are pointing fingers at each other, I don't know who to believe. 😒

I hope they all take each other down.

Ok then, I think you've convinced me.

Should I make my room pitch black and watch it under the covers, or keep the lights on?

And you're right about one thing - I have no idea what it's about, so no one who's seen it has spoiled anything about it. That's rare, indeed.

I was just trying to explain why I don't do "scary". Jump scares, graphic injury, and psychological torture are big triggers for me. I know those are all mass market blockbusters, so not comparable, but flagships of the genre. I've heard praise, but not details.

TBF, even unconditional love doesn't mean never criticizing bad choices.

This isn't patriotism or unconditional love. This is sycophancy and cult behavior.

I don't like scary movies. I saw the first Saw movie in theaters (not my idea) and hated it. I never watched past the first Final Destination. And I hated The Ring.

I have heard nothing but praise for Sinners, but I'm reluctant. Is it worth it?

Alternatively you can lotion up real good and then apply Vaseline to seal in the moisture.

Do not do this on burns.

Do you knit? If not, "frogging" is unraveling a knitted piece (because it makes a "ribbit" sound as you pull). Knitters will say "I had to frog back" so it makes sense that the unconjugated form would be "back frogging". So literary back frogging kinda makes sense!

If they were worried about the budget they wouldn't be giving tax cuts to billionaires. If they were worried about Medicare fraud they would go after crooked doctors who defraud Medicare for millions.

This isn't about the budget. It never was.

You will hear no defense of him from me, but he was able to get enough PA Dems to vote for him in the primary because he convinced us that he would be a progressive senator. Forget who he is personally, look at his policies before and after.

I've never seen such betrayal of campaign promises.

He dropped out because the polls were showing he would lose. Kamala lost because she stuck to Biden's policies. He was wildly unpopular by the end, with disapproval ratings rivaling Trump's.

Look at his handling of Israel. There's a reason he's called "Genocide Joe".

What do you envision that looking like?

I imagine abolishing the Senate entirely, expanding and term-limiting the Supreme Court, abolishing super PACs, having a federal non partisan oversight committee for all redistricting and election practices, and eliminating the Electoral College entirely.

I love everything about this. I would die for this giant angry fluff.

If you could hop on public transit and get to work on time without spending hours on 3 buses and 2 trains, would you need a car?

If all of our basic human and community needs were met, what would we be capable of? If we raise the baseline, where would our peak reach?

If you didn't have to think about where your next meal is coming from or whether you can afford to go to the doctor or how much your rent is going to increase at the end of the month, what could you accomplish? What would you have the time or energy for?
