Fuck I hated working with this fabric but the deep-tufting buttoned chair retrofit is finally done and delivered. Came in looking like hell and no buttons, did a full conversion and they look... good enough lmao

Apparently this is the summer of tufting, and holy shit this fabric is like sandpaper and I kinda hate the pattern. But I did two of them in one day so all things considered that's pretty good

I think this was once a bose store, the lone light illuminating some dishevelled shelving at the far end of the room on the right of the frame feels very ominous. A very empty area in the mall, a green exit sign visible in front of a double door shrouded in shadow A former massage place I believe, also closed now. The stark shadows from the honeycomb shelves are particularly interesting on the main pillar in the room. A wall at an odd angle starts and continues off the left side of the frame. Only one light is on. A very empty looking mall AMC snack counter and entryway

Welp yesterday the belt on my dryer snapped, 45 bucks and a new belt later and it seems to be working fine!

Owie may have fucked my dominant arm and hand up the other day delivering this big fuckin couch. Entryway had basically no clearance, stair banister directly ahead of the door and nowhere to go. Couch weighed a good 2-300 lbs too, ended up holding it over my head. Oyyy ouch
The big fucker in question, an oversized (and very heavy) couch redone in green velour. Velour is also very slippery and is not fun to try to grab onto desperately while your grip strength is failing

The underwood 315 in question sitting on my passenger seat after sealing the deal It's a pleasant robins-egg-but-bluer accents with a light cream body and a bright red tab button Me working on fixing the carriage ratchet, the spring had popped off the arm that actually latches the ratchet so it would just hang limp and cause the carriage to move freely back and forth The 315 has its shell removed and is propped up on its ass so I can access the mechanism underneath and in between the carriage cradle and the typebar mechanism My wife can be seen in the background cross-stitching lmao The 315 reassembled and the body shell cleaned, fully working! The funny script type this one has, man for 20 bones this thing was a steal holy shit
