Error detection without post-selection in adaptive quantum circuits
Current quantum computers are limited by errors, but have not yet achieved the scale required to benefit from active error correction in large computations. We show how simulations of open quantum sys...

We're focused on de-risking the path to large-scale fault-tolerant quantum computing, and we are doing the work to get there. This work is platform-agnostic — relevant to anyone working on quantum hardware, QEC theory, or benchmarking tools.

Our new protocol is robust, syndrome-aware, and applies to complex noise sources such as space-time correlated noise. We benchmarked our approach using Quantinuum’s System Model H1, with excellent results showing improved logical fidelities.

Why is this significant?
🔸It positions us with the most de-risked roadmap in the industry to fulfill our promise to deliver our universal, fully fault-tolerant system, Apollo, by 2029.
🔸It also represents the moment where our industry steps from the NISQ era towards utility-scale quantum computing.
