Stupid short-termist idiots are going to give the next election to Reform.
November 14, 2025 at 8:50 AM
Idiots.

Flip flopping confirms them as ditherers. They will need to do it next year or the year after - closer to the next election.

The Tories cut NI just before the election when they knew they had lost. An unfunded act of national sabotage. Reverse that cut or rebalance tax to the same value.

They are going to need to do it eventually. Better now than just before the election - they should remember the Tories cut NI just before the last last election. Completely unfunded - Reeves is keeping to a Tory commitment - a party that knew it had lost.

What a mess. Pathetic and short termist approach to managing the economy.

One night I was ticketless. Guard comes along and asks man across the aisle for his ticket. Man vomits hugely over the person sitting next to him who runs away shouting.

Guard turns to me. I make a slightly ill sound and the guard just says fuck it and walks off.

Probably a one time fare dodge.

2 most expensive,
1 least expensive
3 best value

Could it be that all the drunks are less boring?

I know. Other problems arise at that point, but there we are...

Maison Berteaux for me. It may not be as good, but it's always been there for me love it.

How much more does it cost to make the stations dramatic and gorgeous? It makes a big difference to the user...

It very nearly scans to the same tune. Nice spot.

I was a juror in a case of burglary. Found the guy guilty because he did it, but the number of jurors who had made their minds up just by looking at him/hearing the charges was chilling.

If you're ever in the dock, seriously, don't turn your jacket collar up or wear a chain over your black shirt.

Like the time the daily mail said they had found a clever way around the dastardly supermarket carrier bag charge - their cunning scheme to own the nanny state? Bringing your own bag.

Literally the whole of the policy intent.

Salut!
October 30, 2025 at 9:14 PM
Absolutely, but the story predates the movie. I remember going to see it and thinking, oh, like that viral story, except I didn't think "viral" because it was 2001.
October 30, 2025 at 9:13 PM
Yup.
October 30, 2025 at 8:52 PM
That's good to know. You never can tell from the TV persona I guess.

This was my immediate thought too. But seriously, he's got to be a painful individual in the flesh as well no?
October 29, 2025 at 8:51 PM
Yeah, and what about the Blues Brothers. Innocently trying to get the band back together, sleep in room with trains going by - next thing you know, pursued by vengeful Carrie Fisher trying to kill them with a rocket launcher.

Well risky.

Exactly so.

In the C17 English dogs were given to wearing suspenders while taking exercise in the country. Meanwhile in town the fashionable dogs took to the sleeker line offered by a belted look. Today you can see that....

I don't think that's due to climate change - or straining the grid. In particular, UK electricity consumption has been declining continuously since 2008.
