The most basic argument I can give you for ditching Spotify for *anything* is Spotify, uniquely, pays *nothing* for much of the music on the platform. Is there *any* improvement in paying for Spotify over pirating? You're a paper-thin moral slice away from buying music from a bootlegger. Why do it?

The fanfic was a response to a fanfic trend of self-insert protagonists getting isekai'd waking up in bed next to their favorite anime girl
