And it's bizarre if OtG&P was meant to be the start of an Oz cinematic universe since Wicked had been a musical for a decade before the movie premiered and the book series the musical is based on a decade before that! Why not just use those instead? 💜💜💜

I got the sense that these movies were always open to being series rather than cinematic universes. But if they were meant to be cine-verses I'm glad most of these glorified sequels failed. 💜💜💜
