Super Artikel - das Detail mit dem "Frisöer" ist besonders gelungen. In diesem Sinne - bin schon mal auf die SoMe Kommentare gespannt. Da weiß ich nie ob ich lachen oder weinen soll.

I like your illustrations as it illustrates the AE conceptually. For me the difference seems to be mostly about whether you want to emphasize the conceptual or the actual - basically the "what" and the "how". The NN illustrations put emphasis on how you can do it practically

In this article we describe different ways of encoding vibrational wave functions on a fault tolerant quantum computer. While this has been done before the size and scale of experiments are beyond previous work and some of the strategies we discuss have not been used in this context before

Two points:

1) Of course QC is not anywhere near solving real problems more (economically) efficiently than classical compute, but useful results may be obtained

2) We are currently looking for beta-users for our API - at the cost of providing us feedback. Shoot me a message if you are interested

Congrats on the grant. Hope you will get good candidates to drive that project

I bought that book when I was in my teens and did not understand it at all. Now, nowadays we can all see what he means every day when reading the news

How do you even short stocks. There are plenty that I would have shorted recently (among others the quantum companies in the beginning of this year)

The question is: why do we as a society allow for a group of hyper-wealthy people to form in the first place.

Don't get me wrong - I have nothing against people becoming wealthy, but there should be limits. "Any system without negative feedback will overshoot" (think this is from Konrad Lorenz)

Talking about Ioannidis - does anyone know if there is a site or paper checking his claims made during the pandemic? My mother in law keeps telling me how right he was about everything right from the start - and I know too few details about all of that to come back with a qualified answer

Yeah - in have just been on their page as well. Well known images - I have produced many of that kind myself 😄

Anyways - their money-givers seem legit open philanthropy etc but I am still sceptical
