Yes, legally speaking Congress was briefed, just the information given by the Trump Administration were lies.

By the way, I mentioned in January 2025, that this Christmas season, well it may not be a good year for retailers. Trump tariffs the uncertainty of the economy and grocery inflation, it may not be a good thing.

An interesting development happened around Nov 7th, 2025 pardons. Trump's signatures were identical, among the three pardons examined. Autopen? Likely. The excuse that it was a technical error.
Just think last week Rep Comes said President Biden's autopen signature pardons were illegal.
