The risk is if all those non-aligned voters decide Labor don’t deserve another go, Labor’s vote will go where the LNPs did last time.

It's not good. And removing teacher representation from the board will cause issues. But I don't think they can have a significant impact on the content that is taught.

I’ve done enough work with the QCAA to know how it works. Glacial slowness, like all bureaucracies. It’s also got plenty of highly intelligent people in between the board and schools.

Queensland Curriculum is heavily and directly linked to the Australian Curriculum. Difficult to see they can have much impact on what is taught in the classroom unless they make significant change in policy, and the QCAA doesn’t have the systems, funds or people to do that sort of work.

This might be a controversial opinion but I don’t think we should be limiting anyone’s toilet paper. Not for its intended purpose at least.
