Veering left with age. Pro EU. Pro PR. More than concerned about climate change. Anti Tory and the rest of the RW loons. Waiting for the karma explosion.
Starmer is going to waste his majority and not do a single thing that could be classed even as moderately adventurous. He's spineless.

But the question remains: why is Keir Starmer not making the case for the ECHR and what protections it brings to British people?

He spent his entire career defending it. He wrote a 900 page book on it! A prime minister who left his principles at the door the minute he got into power.

McSweeney etc might be telling him but that he's actually taking it on 🤦‍♂️
December 10, 2025 at 8:31 AM
Meanwhile there are actual working class people who seem to think "he's one of them". Beggars belief 🤦‍♂️

I agree. But his promise was for country first, party second. Looks like he lied.

This explains why he appears to be happy with FPTP because it guaranteed a Labour or Tory government. Apparently that might not be the case next time round. I wonder if he's going to do anything about it 🤔 PR anybody?

I wonder at what point Starmer is going to realise he’s got nothing to lose and so might as well do some of the actual real change he promised. My guess is that it will be way too late if at all. He’s disappointing beyond belief.
December 7, 2025 at 5:11 PM
This is exactly why this should have been number 1 on their to do list when getting power. Of course Starmer far too weak to any proper change.
December 7, 2025 at 11:49 AM
Dear Scotland, I’m more than a little disappointed with you. I hoped you’d be running that fascist 🐸 out of your wonderful country, but it seems the English disease has also crossed the border and been welcomed in parts 😟

It’s just a shame we don’t appear to have any prominent politicians that are hugely talented in politics.
December 7, 2025 at 8:52 AM
Just like Johnson during the pandemic, Starmer is the wrong PM at the wrong time. He’s got the power and is scared to use it.
December 6, 2025 at 3:52 PM
Despite Starmer’s promise to govern country first party second.
December 6, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Starmer is just wasting the time having his majority. If/when the absolute worst happens then it's 100% down to him.
December 6, 2025 at 12:40 PM
Gobshite Farage has supporters to whom his racism allegations are positive.
December 6, 2025 at 12:36 PM
Starmer could and should put a stop to these obscene donations TO ANY PARTY. Why doesn't he?
December 6, 2025 at 12:32 PM
Exactly. His government for the people not party (or even self) talk ringing very hollow.
December 5, 2025 at 12:58 PM
If Starmer really wants to sabotage RefUkLtd he could just do some proper electoral reform and introduce PR. That would constitute the REAL change (for the people not party) he promised from the steps of number 10.
December 5, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Why isn’t Starmer doing something about this? Where is the change he promised?
December 4, 2025 at 1:25 PM
And still Starmer will do next to nothing about political donations. I wonder why? 🤔
December 4, 2025 at 9:21 AM
Unfortunately they didn't break the mould when Cooper was created.
December 4, 2025 at 8:46 AM
McSweeney is certainly Starmer's Cummings, but he wasn't around pre GE when Starmer was spouting this nonsense.
December 4, 2025 at 8:44 AM
When, pre GE, he was busy painting himself into this particular corner I was puzzled as to why he kept saying things that he really didn't have to 🤔
