Interesting concept that i wish got more time for more tension.
Good dialogue and a heartbreaking ending.
Madame de Pompadour looking inside The Doctors mind is the outstanding part in this otherwise average episode

Plot is nice, although the antagonists shouldve gotten more time to develop
I only realised there were characters from the old pre-2005 seasons when K9 showed up. Kinda wish they stuck around for a couple episodes instead of a one off

Pretty good. Has good build-up and the reveal of the build-up is wonderful.
There’s a small plothole with the werewolf exiting the mistletoe room just fine when the mistletoe oil covered walls are keeping him back, but whatever

Check alt text (its a LONG one, i had to use all 2000 characters)
tl;dr: it’s kinda mid and not a good start for the new series, but it has its moments

A bit of a let down.
Very weird they brought back the Slitheen plot after 6 episodes for no reason. Nothing happens until the very end and there’s barely any tension. More relationship drama that doesn’t make sense nor gets resolved at all.

Mummy…
Very haunting double part episode with a heartwarming ending. And the Doctor does indeed have moves

Real emotional episode, almost brought me to tears. High stakes and genuine loss.

Pretty standard episode but i still really enjoyed the interactions between all the characters.
I do think they used the rising violin sfx a bit too often, but that’s basically my only criticism

During the development of Super Mario 64 the developers had the idea of implementing an enemy that would hop around and punch the player.
While unused, many of its elements are also present in the Chuckya and the Water Bomb, so it’s highly possible it was repurposed for those.
