He's still treated for war related PTSD. For what I get, his tours to Iraq and Afghanistan were rough. He then did 6 months contract work for Constellis, just to discover that, despite no longer being Blackwater, they still were "war zones for business", so he left. He may still be damaged goods.

Platner did contract work in Afghanistan for 6 months in 2018 (even though he at the same time was treated for war related PTSD already). Blackwater wasn't owned by Erik Prince any longer then. Platner left the contract when he realised, it still was a money machine that used war zones for business.
