Farage revealed "he had spoken to his friend Trump on Friday about the Panorama row"

After which Trump threatened "to sue the broadcaster for $1bn unless it issues a retraction"

Farage's love for his country knows no bounds...

I read somewhere about 100k tonnes however further north salt being rarely used because of winter temps -12c & below

Göteborg has been a nightmare in the past 😐 regularly running out of grit mid-winter 🤷‍♂️

Tell Gothenburg...

Of course there's always a downside

Salt on dark winter roads will inevitably lead to increases in roadkill

Although we may see fewer broken windscreens, the remnants of those newly smashed are more likely to include blood spattered remains of humans mixed with the torsos of top-heavy Elk 😕

Sweden has never used salt on winter roads, only grit which has kept the windscreen replacement businesses in clover since windscreens were the best thing since meatballs & gravy

Not everyone will be delighted, but hopefully the annual springtime parade of cracked glass will soon dwindle to a close

To paraphrase a cry from the sixties Irish showband era:

“Spit on me Donny‼️”

She’s referring to someone who believes his very essence is so vital to the human race, it should be propagated by Artificial Insemination

That’s AI to you and me

If there ever was a time for a Priti Patel style "sorry if you feel..." apology, this is probably it.

I’m old enough to remember when Johnson & his #brexit chums decried loudly how EU “extraterritorial powers” were undermining the UK

Apparently caving into Trump’s extraterritorial missives & threats are perfectly acceptable instead

No less of a snub had Farage performed his Remembrance Day stunt in Clacton

But perhaps now the locals might begin to understand what a hypocrite they’ve elected

Poor Michael Prescott is shocked, but clearly not enough to overlook the amount of BBC airtime given over to Farage & his #refuk mates

A little surprising Michael Prescott would choose to create a stink over coverage of the execrable Trump, instead of highlighting the non-stop bias in BBC News in favour of Farage & his #refuk mates

What have I missed?

The Orangeskins Stadium?

Probably wouldn't scan very well for chanting cheerleaders but who cares ...

Just one “common understanding” with the EU is the introduction of a youth mobility scheme on which the UK hasn’t budged

Instead, we see demands for an SPS agreement, special access to Erasmus, special access to EU security procurement processes etc with barely a hint of a quid pro quo 🤷‍♂️
November 8, 2025 at 11:36 AM
Farage & his #refuk gang are incapable of taking responsibility for anything as we’re seeing live in Kent CC & every other LA where enough voters have been gulled into electing snake oil merchants

Yet, we’re STILL hearing how a fawning admirer of Trump & Putin is within a whisker of becoming PM 🤔

It’s like “cakism” was left in the pending tray…

Seriously since when has there been a common understanding between the UK & EU?

SPS is an area which is badly needed yet we’re still squabbling

SAFE isn’t just about buying armaments but also long term investment in European security with secure trusted partner buy-in, not their BOGOF sales pitch

The guy who fainted was working the remote 🎮 control at the time …
November 7, 2025 at 8:41 AM
Somehow it feels not much has been learned or understood about the EU & its inner workings since Johnson & Frost mistook gruel for cake

SAFE was never a free lunch; EU is looking to invest in security in financial terms as well as armaments

It means ensuring an ext partner won’t walk away, again

A spice bag, every time (tho you'd probably have to be in Dublin)

Chips, battered shredded chicken, sliced peppers and onions, all tossed together in a bag with a generous coating of salt and Chinese spices.
